ABOUT THIS VEHICLE:
This is not your regular Jeep...is is running on a small block V8! It started life as a regular YJ back in March of 1995, sold new in Calgary, AB. This Jeep was owned by a true enthusiast. Not only do we have the original bill of sale and purchase paperwork, but we have (literally) every receipt for this Jeep's entire history.
Things got a little more interesting during its complete restoration. The first order of business was to bring back the classic look by adding the iconic CJ front clip. As is known, black paint hides no flows and this one looks great. Very straight body with near perfect pint work. At this time, the 4" lift kit was done and all the prep work for the V8 conversion was completed. New weather-stripping, rubbers, felts and extensive powder-coating all completed.
Things did not stop there. Under the hood is a fuel injected 5.0L V8 matched to a 4speed overdrive 700R4 automatic. March pulleys, aluminum rad, Novak conversion kit, ceramic headers - even R134 A/C conversion all got installed. This Jeep sounds as good as it looks, certainly turning some heads when the V8 rumble comes through the back of the YJ.
Inside will not disappoint. A set of Baja bucket seats were installed. Lokar shifter that works like it was factory installed. New carpets an armrests, Grant steering wheel, and a tilt column. An amazing sound system hidden in the back with an Alpine deck (with IPOD adapter), JL/Alpine speakers and Clarion 10" subs. Everything is a clean and tidy as you would expect from a high-dollar restoration.
Nothing was overlooked during this build. It's not often that you'll see a V8 Jeep for sale - and the quality of workmanship on this one will impress. This one is priced at a fraction of the build cost, with every past receipt available to the future owner.
