Overview

This is an amazing build, starting out with a rust-free Arizona car purchased from the 3rd owner in 2010. The rotisserie restoration was started in 2012, completed by the award-winning "IVR -- Investment Vehicle Restorations" in southern Alberta. If you know, you know -- they do some of the finest work in the country. All original body panels were retained, including the floors and trunk, with no patchers or obvious filler. You may notice the "Max Wedge" style hood scoop. This was no small addition being custom fabricated to the tune of approx. $8000 for completion. Fitting the dual quads underneath was not an easy task. It set off the look perfectly.

The drivetrain started to take shape during the restoration, with a 426 Hemi engine being the chosen powerplant. It was built with all the best components (Eagle, Ross, ARO, Clevite, Edelbrock) leading to it turning into a 565 cubic inch monster. 686 HP and 667 TQ matched to an 18 spline Chrysler 833 4-speed running through a Centre Force clutch. Out back it's a worked over Ford 9" with 3.50 sure grip. The 3" exhaust system sounds amazing as is, and even better with the electric cut-outs opened up.

Driving this beast is quite an experience. The big horsepower and torque immediately get your attention. It's got enough 'old school' to give you the full Hemi experience with the power 4-wheel disc brakes keeping things in check. Pop the hood when you park it and a crowd gathers. Truly one of a kind that will stand the test of time.
